Lyceum Studio's Musical Theatre Competition Troupe is now STAR Troupe (Student Theatre Arts Repertory Troupe)!  

Lyceum Studio's STAR Troupe is a professional student training ground for young theatre artists in grades 6-12. STAR Troupe is a 3-part program that offers flexibility while focusing on theatrical training with a competition troupe component.  

STAR Troupe Fall Workshop Series
Led by theatre professionals 

Workshops are scheduled for Monday nights from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in October 2025.  Register for one or more (bundle and save!).  Below are past workshops!  2025 fall workshops coming soon!

STAR Troupe Singers: Sept 14th - November 1st

STAR Troupe performers have the opportunity to perform solo material to build their musical theatre repertoire. Singers will receive one-on-one vocal and acting coaching, while learning the art of acting a song among peers.  Participants will also receive one 45-minute private coaching session. Students will have the opportunity to perform at local educational competition programs, receiving valuable feedback from adjudicators.

 

STAR Troupe Singers includes:

• 8 week class

• 1, 45-minute private lesson

STAR Troupe Musical Theatre Dancers: Sept 14 - Nov. 1 

Led by professional choreographer
STAR Troupe dancers will rehearse and perform a musical theatre dance number, learning steps and techniques seen on Broadway and regional stages. They will be prepared for musical theatre dance auditions, as well as the rehearsal room while gaining familiarity with the style. The session will end with a showcase performance!
